I declare today that no failure, no regret, no sin, no evil, no master, and no painful memory has the slightest authority over my life. You bought me back from those dark forces. You broke their chains and set me free. I belong to you.
I stand today redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. Jesus Christ delivered me from the slave market of sin. He shattered the bars of evil. He silenced the devil's roar. He broke the back of death and hell. Your Son, in one dark day on Calvary's Cross, set me free once for all from every malevolent force that would ever drag me down.
I take my stand today in the perfect liberty of Christ.
On his authority, and in his name, I tell the voices that would bind me, limit me, reduce me, and accuse me to be silent; they have no authority in my life. Christ dethroned them, destroyed them, and demolished them.
I claim that truth by faith.
I declare it over myself and my family.
In Christ, I am free. My Redeemer is mighty. My redemption is complete.
Deliver me from limping beneath my dignity. Grant that I would walk worthy of my high calling. Teach me the grace to accept people as they are, without editing, fixing, constricting, or dominating them in any way; teach me to respect the freedom with which you have set them free.
In Christ's liberating grace,
But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God--and righteousness and sanctification and redemption-- (1 Corinthians 1:30)
You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men. (1 Corinthians 7:23)
Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1)
