In Episode 82, we talked specifically about worship music in our churches. We introduce the philosophy of worship music, which is called Content-Based Worship. Diving in deep into this philosophy will grant you a better understanding of the relationship between the musical portion of a worship service and the rest of the service, especially the preaching.
There are existing issues within contemporary Christian worship music. There is shallow theology, a lot of repetitiveness, but most importantly, the music is too generic and can be played around the globe sounding like it's 'Christian music', when it isn't. We want just as big of an impact with our music compared to the rest of our church.
